Guernsey lies in the Gulf of St Malo, 30 miles west of the Normandy coast in France and 75 miles south of Weymouth in England The island is approximately 24 sq. miles (63 sq. kilometres) it has a Mild climate - usually frost-free. The island's main income comes from the finance industry also tourism and flower growing. Travelling to the island could not be easier, direct flights from most major airports and by sea. Guernsey Airport is located three miles west south west of St. Peter Port, the Island's capital. Beautiful sandy beaches, secret coves and rock pools, cliff walks, wooded valleys and sleepy lanes Guernsey has it all, explore the island by bike follow the cycle routes and enjoy the tranquillity of the island. There are opportunities to swim, windsurf, water-ski or even surf from the beaches or go sailing or sea fishing from the marina. There are three golf courses on the Island. Beau Sejour Leisure Centre has a sports hall with courts available for volleyball, badminton, football, squash, tennis, as well as other facilities including a fitness studio, a bowling green and a large indoor pool with water flumes. The channel Islands: Alderney is the most northerly of the Channel Islands, Sark lies nearly 8 miles east of Guernsey. Herm is a small island lying just off Guernsey. Jethou is a small island covering approximately 44 acres immediately south of Herm. It is thought that it was once connected to Herm by a strip of land that was washed away during a storm in the AD709. Brecqhou is a privately owned island. Lihou is a conservation area and is owned by the States of Guernsey this small island is located on the west coast of Guernsey.

A fascinating insight into the sparkling world of diamonds from their origins to their setting in jewellery. Pleinmont Tower, A unique five-story naval observation tower used by Germans 1942-45. Guernsey Museum and Art Gallery. Designed around the old Victorian bandstand in the recently restored Victorian Candie Gardens, the museum houses a variety of Exhibitions.
